The Property:

A new build apartment block with sensitive planning constraints in the historic market town of Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.

The Requirement:

To Work closely with the developer and council planners to provide a suitable high performance aluminium window and door system throughout the property.

Built to exacting modern standards to include an unusual but important planning restriction.

Elements of the framework were subject to planning constraint - They must show wide sight lines so as to replicate the appearance of existing local glazing.

The Solution:

Marlin supplied and installed carefully selected products from the Smart Aluminium Window & Door Systems range.

By insulating aluminium hollow box sections Marlin were able to couple these to thermally broken frame profiles to provide the necessary wide sight line detail as required by the planners.
