Aluminium Secondary Glazing / Secondary Double Glazing
Secondary Glazing involves adding an extra slim-line window in addition
to your existing windows. Secondary glazing is designed to keep the
heat in and the noise out. You could also save around 10% on your
heating bills. Our Secondary Glazing is made from strong lightweight
aluminium so that the frames can be made very slim and discreet.
Secondary Glazing is perfect for use in Listed Buildings and
conservation areas. Adding secondary glazing is a cost effective and
reversible change that is recommended by English Heritage and the
Listed Property Owners Club. The Energy Saving Trust states that it is
'ideal solution if you are unable to fit double glazing'.
Secondary glazing should NOT easily be seen.

- 3 tracks and 3 panels gives approximately two-thirds clear opening.
- Easy access to your existing windows.
- Three times as much air flow (improved ventilation).
- Easily add a flyscreen - see below.
- 4 - 6.8mm Glazing.
- Only available with Luxury subframe system.
3 (Triple) Track With Integral Flyscreen
Our triple track system allows maximum flexibility for summer and winter. In the winter, the secondary glass panels operate as normal secondary glazing - cutting out draughts and noise. In the summer time the flyscreen panel can be slid across to allow ventilation without letting in the bugs during the summer evenings.
When thinking about secondary glazing ask if you can also have a flyscreen fitted. Did you know that calls to NHS Direct regarding mosquito bites increased 28% in the first 5 days of August 2007, compared to the same period in 2006?
